Nothing do do in West Monroe
except swim and eat!
So this weekend I wasn't online because my family and I went to visit my cousins and my sick uncle in Louisiana. It was almost a 10 hour drive with all the stops. I should have helped my mom drive, but I was dead asleep there and back. On the way, we stopped in Rainbow, Alabama at my other uncle's house. Our families went in two cars to Louisiana. There was absolutely nothing in Rainbow! It was deserted! I don;t understand how my cousins can live there. They even said it was boring!
I've never been to my cousin Shelbys' house in Louisiana before. My other cousins who had gone before said it was like a mini mansion. It was. It was gated with a pond with geese in the front. The house was 2 floors and gorgeous! The inside was just amazing! The back had some lovely gardens and a pool with a diving board, slide, and fountain thingies. The house had like 10 rooms plus a guest room in the pool house. Each room had a 40in + LCD and a couch! T^he smallest room was like my room and my sisters put together! I wish I had gotten pictures, but I didn't want to be the only one looking stupid taking pictures. My relatives also had lots of cute doggies! There was also Karaoke machine in the living room! It was so funny seeing MY MOM, aunts, uncles, cousins sing! I fell in love with the little dachshund named Mitchy! He was just so cute and just 2 months old! While we were there my cousin said there really was nothing to do except eat in West Monroe. So on Saturday we swam in their pool and on Sunday we ate, went to the movies, and ate again. We left back home Monday afternoon.
I still feel really tired despite sleeping in the car the whole drive. I seriously feel my body going into hibernation mode. For the record, I do hibernate. Well kind off. :P The longest was I slept for a whole week straight and just got up to use the restroom and eat one snack a day.
It seems I've gotten into a habit of posting music. :P
