Well, that was quick

So, this past week-end we got 4-8 inches of snow, and up in the mountains it was around a foot and a half.  So I was going to go up to the top of the Tour de la Liberté to take pictures of Saint-Dié under all of the snow.   Unfortunately the tower is closed on Saturday through Monday, and I had no time on Tuesday, but I had a ton of time on Wednesday, so I was going to go right after lunch.  When I went to choir practice on Tuesday night, it was about 20 degrees.  When I woke up Wednesday morning it was 43, and all of the snow was gone.  So I'm really bummed that I won't have those pics, but I figure it might still snow between now and mid-March.

Not much has actually happened this week, and yet at the same time I feel like I've been really busy.  Finished the Codex Alera, started the first book of the Night Angel Trilogy, which seems like it'll be really cool.  Going to Nancy on Sunday to see En Attendant Godot, which is a play by Samuel Beckett.  Also grabbed a Molière from the library.  All in all, it's life as usual.

Big 3:
Best: Getting addicted to more music.  Currently, I'm taking a break from francophone music, and I'm grooving to A Rocket to the Moon and Owl City (Thanks, Mom!)
Worst:  Having to teach on Thursday, so I didn't get to go with one of my other schools when they went snowshoing on a mountain that was high enough that it still had snow.
Funniest:  Playing a game which is supposedly already difficult for the French.  The New Zealander and I really sucked at it.

owl city, rocket to the moon, en attendant godot, snow, moliere, saint die, codex alera, games, st. die, night angel trilogy
