I must say better than the manga imo, it seemed kind of rushed..?
And It almost made up for the fact that Near and Mello didn't appear, especially when they showed a part of L's past at Wammy's and tiny L holding Watari's hand who didn't age over the 20 years that passed @_@"...
we got the chance to take a look at Watari's and L's relationship which made me really happy.
Also when L was drying Light's feet... it looked like they were hinting at the bible...
aka Jesus - Judas reference, but I might sound ridiculous here (>_<);;
I wish I knew what they said... they improvised so much that I only understood half of what happened. ; _ ;
However for a second or longer I was fooled by Li~ight i thought he was gonna cry or regretting what he has done when he realised what he finally achieved... but I think "kira took over him" before it came to that.
