so, i was really stressing about this andy warhol paper i had to do, and i was so relieved when i finally got it turned in. i got the grade back yesterday, and lets just say that all the stress was worth it. i was surprised. closure, yay!
i was finally suckered into getting on thefacebook, so, yeah. i'm there, now. tons of ppl from my highschool are, as well. tons.
i was just talking to our roommate, andrea, and she says hi to everyone. she is really sweet and i'll miss her when we all move out.
dooby dooby dooo... i saw sin city last night with karrin and sasha and i really enjoyed it. not a big fan of uber violence and uber nudity, but it all fit in well and was made up for by all the neat artistic stuff. also, the dialogue was really comic-booky, but i knew it was supposed to be that way, so i was able to just go with it. all in all, it was a good movie and i liked that it was different.
my final research paper for english is going to be about school uniforms, and i dont care how cliche that is. after trying to argue about why andy warhol made pop art, i'm ready to deal with a topic that can be more black and white. i just hope my teacher doesnt give me a hard time about not choosing something more "challenging" or "interesting." hopefully i can just write a really insightful paper and prove to her that the subject doesnt have to be boring or played out. i have had such a block this year for coming up with research topics. steen suggested this one, and i'm grabbing it up.
fall semester, i'm taking geography, speech, history since 1500, global issues, and great questions of phiosophy. thats 15 hours. this summer, im getting a job and saving my money because im broke. so, now you know my plans, b/c they are so interesting, yes?
thats about it.
