In which careers and games are gods.

So perhaps I wanna be a cartoonist.

It's not that I don't really fancy the idea of working on video games anymore, but after rustling around and fidgeting, unable to sleep because you've got cartoon ideas running through your head, you start to reconsider your stance in the world at large.

My mother has been hounding me about this childrens' book that she wants to get written. My pessimism wants to say that the book market is too particular and her dreams will get crushed, but the tiny bit of optimism in me wants to belt out a couple of sketches, make some illustrations, just fucking get to work.

The nearer the school year becomes, the more active I want to be. I wonder how my time management will go.

I bought one of the Fallout 3 DLC packs because $20 for two packs sounded like a good deal and I've finished the original Fallout 3 about fifty times. For the record, The Pitt is decent, but the urge to cheat rises once you realise it's you, about twenty Trogs and Wildmen, and the difficulty setting of "Very Hard." I also found my first hat in TF2 (for those few who will understand what it means) and have once more returned to my first and best class: Soldier. I fancy an Ace of Spades in my hat. Builds character.

For the time being, I'm going to run a couple rounds of Team Fortress 2 (I'll be on Steam: chast1poet), then I'm going to see a man about a cartoon.

Did you know Zynga (the company that does those retarded Facebook/Myspace games) is hiring artists? Interesting tidbit that may become more relevant in the future.

Tschüss.
