Metal year in review - best metal songs of 2012
Okay. I keep trying to do this and the last two times I tried, things went all wrong and it didn't happen. Also, I wanted to wait a little longer for it to be closer to the end of the year. But either way, here it is: the best metal of 2012, all in one entry.
1. Just getting it out of the way because you knew it was coming - Dethklok, "I Ejaculate Fire"
2. Testament, "Native Blood"
3. Devin Townsend Project, "Lucky Animals". Note: This isn't even the best song on the album, I just had to post the video because it's fucking hilarious.
4. Korpiklaani - Rauta
5. Ensiferum - In My Sword I Trust
6. Cannibal Corpse - Encased In Concrete
7. Nile - The Fiends Who Come To Steal The Magick Of The Deceased
8. Dying Fetus, "Subjected To A Beating"
9. Cattle Decapitation - Forced Gender Reassignment. Note - This song had the most brutal video of the year if not, like, ever. Sadly it's been banned from youtube so I couldn't post it, so here's the song which is still awesome.
10. Municipal Waste - You're Cut Off
11. 3 Inches Of Blood - Look Out! Note - I wanted to post "Metal Woman" since I fucking love that song, but I picked this one because this is their tribute to Dio!
12. Marduk - Souls For Belial
13. Gojira - Explosia
14. Overkill - Wish You Were Dead
15. Meshuggah - Break Those Bones Who Gave It Motion
16. Decapitated - Homo Sum
