Berliiiiin

So I've been in Berlin since the 25th of May, and it's really awesome. I speak jack shit German, but that's okay.... I've been staying with some family friends, which is great on the finances, and I really like my hosts! They're very nice, and I get to take the kid to school every morning, which makes me feel all important and stuff XD.

I've been going to every museum I can find with any sort of paintings in it, and I've covered most of the impressionists, French and German, by now. I'm still looking for Renaissance specialized ones, but I have another week here, so no rush. Also I'm going to Frankfurt tomorrow for a week (the week left in Berlin is after I get back). I think I'm visiting some other cities as well in northern Germany.

The only problem right now is that I've been painting quite a lot, but I'm missing a FULL painting, on canvas and everything. WHERE DID IT GOOOOO???? I mean, it was in the apartment... I have no idea. D8   And that's what the angry Yoda icon is for. Damn, I wanna watch Star Wars. Old school star wars, not the new CGI stuff.

Under the cut are some pictures, just three, of Berlin. I went up in the Berlin TV Tower, which is 300-something meters or 600-something feet and took some pictures. You can see most of Berlin from there, and it's the center, and right along the east/west border.

You can see the tower in this one. It's that big....tower thing... with the ball on it. In the ball is a viewing platform and a nice restaurant. In front of it you can see like, three or four other really important type German icons, like the Dome and the beginning of Museum Island.

That river you can see is the Spree, and it was used as a guide of where to put the Wall. So essentially on one side of the Spree was East Berlin, and the other side West Berlin. (To the left is East, right is West.)

And that's all for now. I think I might do a drawing post later. Haven't done one in ages. I have a backlog. D:
