I've been working toward keeping myself occupied in life. Monday I got a pleasant surprise in the form of Tierney calling me up to go out Monday night. We got together, grabbed some dinner at Yamato and had a fantastic evening of food and conversation. We went back to her parents place to look at her painting when we got wrangled by her Mom and her Mom's Boyfriend(?) where we proceeded to drinking wine and talking alcohol, music and art for 2 hours. It was a fantastic evening!
School yesterday was no fun as I was exhausted and it was generally a waste of time. Last night Colby and I got together for what he and I like to call "Fog of War." We went to Up In Smoke for Hookah to play some Go. Some tea, some fine smoke and some Kabob later and we had ourselves a night! Colby wrecked me (174-78) and I went home and crashed.
Today was a bad day... work fucked me hard-core and I got some aggravating news about school. Apparently my term paper wasn't delivered by my TA and I'm afraid my Ethics professor won't accept the paper since now it's late. My boss dumped a bunch of work that he should have done on me because he doesn't want to deal with angry customers. Hooray for me.
Thank god I have some of Mike's beer waiting for me at home and some Comic Books (as nerdy as that sounded.) Hopefully I can salvage something of this day and make tomorrow bearable. Though reading about Absurdism doesn't really make one very optimistic... hurray for existentialism.
