Like fucking clockwork!
One hell of a weekend, if I do say so myself!
Friday night I got together with Nick, Andrew and about 8 other people and celebrated the High Holiday with gusto. It was very good times, I was very *ahem* happy and slept like a baby.
Saturday was awesome pants extreme 2 - this time, it's personal! I had Andrew cover work for me so I could sleep in and *cough* recover from the previous night. I spent the day relaxing and with my family and that night I went to Ari (my cousin) and Will's (her boyfriend) birthday party in Ventura. I met a ton of old friends whom I haven't seen in a while and enjoyed the music, the companionship and the liquor! Sean and Chantelle (I butchered her name) were there with Chantelle's sister Terran, who I had an exceptionally good time with. She and I seemed to hit it off exceedingly well and were generally inseparable for a good portion of the evening. Aside from that, we partied till 2:30 in the morning; at which point things died down and Orry and I left.
Sunday (today) was my sister's 9th birthday party at Castle Park Arcade/Mini-Golf in Sherman Oaks. Orry and I went to wish my sister a Happy Birthday and to enjoy a fine time at an Arcade that we haven't been to in years... which turned out to suck. The games haven't been maintained since last time we were there and we had to chaperon the kids for a little while. We said our goodbyes, wished my sister a happy birthday and came back home.
We just finished roleplaying a session of Kyle's L5R game, which was very, very well done and very fun. Good times all around and it would seem like nothing could possibly put a damper on this fine and fun weekend...
Unless of course you count the two solid blue lines of broken pixels on my Laptop's LCD Screen... fuck, it's annoying. Only thing I can do is take it in for repair, which I may or may not do, depending on cash flow and whether or not I can live with it. Either way, it would seem I'm not allowed to revel in good times without something happening.
