Господа! Наша компания MIPS Technologies собирается провести региональный семинар в Израиле, где находятся несколько компаний, использующих наши процессорные ядра.
Это событие может быть интересным не только для израильтян. По двум причинам:
1. На семинаре будет впервые опубликована информация о трех новых ядрах (я обещаю, что тонким ценителям процессорных архитектур будет очень интересно).
2. У Мауро Даймонта (Mauro Diamant) давно была идея проводить семинары по такому же формату и в России, когда мы к этому созреем. Поэтому израильский семинар интересен как прототип будущих российских семинаров.

Dear Colleagues
Following an annual tradition of Technical Seminars that traces back to 2002, MIPS Technologies will hold a Technical Seminar in Israel in 14/May 2012. We hope you can join us!
Our annual Seminar is designed to inform you, and strengthen the relationship between MIPS and the chip design community in Israel, offering in-depth information about our broad range of performance-efficient CPU IP solutions, and highlighting our strong cooperation with key partners that help to speed your creation of unique embedded designs.
This year, the Seminar will focus on two main topics:
1. Multiple CPU Launches - This year, MIPS will introduce three new CPU products during the seminar. These new cores will all be first publicly announced just a week before our seminar. The cores target various points of the performance spectrum. The products will be described in great detail by our VP of Hardware Engineering, Larry Hudepohl, whom you know from previous MIPS Seminars.
2. Vertical Updates! - We will update you on the progress of our work in several different vertical market fronts, including our Mobile advances and others, as well as benchmarking activities that we carry out to convey to you the contribution of MIPS to your company’s success.
The seminar agenda will include the following:
- Welcome and Corporate Vision
- New CPU Cores Launch - In-depth Technical Overview
- Performance Benchmarks
- Vertical Markets: New Products and Capabilities
As always, we'll also feature a MIPS Ecosystem Exposition during the Seminar, where select members of the MIPS Ecosystem will display to you their new products and highlight their cooperation with MIPS. Exhibitors include the below companies, among others:
