(no subject)
wednesday was halo-palooza. which means dan was kidnapped by his video-gaming friends from 3pm to 3am for purposes known. although there was a food, frisbee, and movie break, i did not see him aside from when i took him to the humane society to look at kittens with me. so i entertained myself by watching the last 2 tapes of sex and the city, season 4 and going on a late night starbucks run with troy and jd.
now he is the weird part. on the way back to troys we discussed the end of the world, news i had heard but they hadnt which led to the discussion of the tsunami/earthquake that was "due" to the west coast. next morning i wake up and front page of the Oregonian- the tsunami that didnt happen. if you missed it, check out thursdays paper, interesting article. but it freaked me out. my friends parent also claim i have predicted every major earth quake on the west coast... i say coincidence.
other news, i ended up stealing dan away and forcing him to stay the night. boys are the best thing to sleep next to. and then i took him to get a haircut from my cuz emily since she is in beauty school. it looks good but not short enough, i think. and then she cut mine- shorter and i miss my longer hair but probably for the better. and a facial... ahhhh.
ps. madagascar= cute movie, very good for kids. batman begins= kick ass! holy bats, i want to see it again. talk about action! and to quote dan, 'the "cg" has gotten way better and more believable.' (cg meaning computer graphics for those less cool, like me).
