(no subject)
Went to Halo ODST launch since my brother was paying for the majority of the game. I figured I could save a trip and hang out a bit more with Nick and Eli while Nick was still around in Vancouver.
Now, my first worry about going down there, Line up. Called ahead, found out it was short. One problem I don't have to deal with.
Halfway down to EB, I realize that this is Halo, I will be dealing with Assholes. Fantastic, I think. To my surprise, when we get down there, it turns out that I don't get any problems from anyone. In fact, we run into some high school friends. So I get in, get the game and leave for the bus stop.
Here... is where things gotta a little ironic. I went down there expecting to deal with assholes who play Halo. Instead, I got on the bus and found that I was going to deal with assholes there.
Two women were on the bus(Two very large women), I didn't pay them much mind to begin with until they started insulting us simply because we were 'gamers'...
You know when people ask very obnoxious questions for the purpose of being obnoxious. We had to deal with that up until my stop. Sadly none of us(with the exception of Eli) really wanted to say anything, and we regretted not saying anything to that bullshit.
