A-Shopping I Will Go...
Went to the bookstore. They had two hard-cover, plastic-wrapped copies of the Cry for Justice mini-series. -_- You have no idea how much I wanted to go find a lighter and set the whole shelf on fire. Just to save some innocent person from buying it without realizing what they're doing. Thankfully, the comic book rack didn't have Rise of Arsenal or I *really* would have done some damage.
They did have Batman: Brave and the Bold #17 though (the one based on the cartoon). And I bought it. And it was fun.
I also bought the Superman/Batman: Absolute Power TPB, which kinda left me feeling confused. (Uncle Sam with a power ring, wha...???) I've been known to be stupid before, though, so maybe I'll read it again in a week or two and everything will magically make sense.
