TAKE IT AWAY! TAKE IT AWAY!!!
I don't really talk about the Authority much on here, but I'm actually kind of a fan. Granted, I'm mostly in it for Apollo and Midnighter, but all of the characters are interesting. I'm just basing this opinion off The Authority: Relentless TPB, some snippets from scans_daily, and fan-fic, but yeah, I like the Authority. So when DC cancelled its Wildstorm imprint (the one that publishes Authority) a while back, I was kinda sad and hoped the characters would be incorporated into the DCU proper. When I heard about the reboot and fellow Wildstorm character Grifter getting his own series, those hopes grew.
And now, I'm learning the meaning of the phrase "be careful what you wish for."

WHO THE HELL ARE THOSE PEOPLE???? Do they look ANYTHING alike?!?! I didn't even know it was THEM until I unfortunately happened to glance at the symbols on their chests! Furthermore, WHAT is J'onn doing with a GROUP OF MASS MURDERING "SUPERHEROES"?!!

*pant, pant* Well, at least I know it's still DC. When I heard the good news about Dick being Nightwing and Roy being un-crazyfied, I was beginning to question whether or not somebody had hijacked DC headquarters away from Didio and Co. Then, the lack of news about Lian and the fact that Barbara Gordon is going back to being Batgirl made me rethink that. Stormwatch #1 just confirms that we're dealing with the same idiots as before. Guess the good news from earlier was just a coincidence they happened to bumble into.
