Hawaii is kind of Lame
I dunno if anyone actually cares -- and maybe I'm just using this as an excuse to get out of my posting slump, cos, YEAH -- but Hawaii isn't like, underwater or anything. I'm pretty sure the worst that's gonna happen is some mild flooding. Maybe.
Regardless, I live inland on Oahu, so everything in my town is solid. Unfortunately, as that means I still have to take the Chinese test that I am woefully unprepared for today. (YES MAL I STUDIED, BUT STILL)
Seriously, though, I was woken up TWICE at the wee hours of the morning (at 1am by my boss, and at 2:45am by my mother) expressing concern and whatever about the whole situation. My boss didn't have a choice in the matter, as the XO issued a command recall, but omg, I was SO CONFUSED.
ANYWAY OFF TO GET READY FOR THE TSUNAMI WORK.
