"the comic follows in the shadow of the tragic"

I realized how pleased I am to wake up rested, knowing that I went to bed early for that reason. Everything seems to find its balance in the end. My Philosophy exam was easy. Kind of disappointing because it's the only real midterm I have this semester. To prepare we took bong rips. Meh.
Last nite was cool. Je me suis tres amusee! Mark and James came to return some of my stuff and hang out for awhile. Cha and his new lady friend (i think, Salem? who was very nice) stopped by as well. Smoked a few times. They showed me this ridiculous website, Prankcalls, which has a slew of soundboards of major comedians/famous people. My favorite, Micheal Jacksons phrases from Barbara Walters-type interviews: "I slept on the floor", "I would never do anything like that", "It's people with a dirty mind...greed", "I'm going to do anything, in a pure, loving, fun way". Haha.
My Mango Jamba juice was sensational this morning. It's definitely one of the top three.
I've got the Decameron and The Death of Ivan Ilyich prompting me to read them. Later.

"A sin that is hidden is half-forgiven"
-another clip from my comedy class. The Decameron (which i hadn't read in time for class).
