Went to Barnes & Nobles w/ my mom to so she could find a greek-english dictionary. She's starting to take english language classes to refine her skills, how cute! I spent about an hour glossing over the Kurt Cobain biographies. I do that every time I go there. I can't seem to hold myself back, especially since they have the most rare pictures of him (and god knows how drawn I am to his visage, such perfect beauty), and also clips of his suicide note, which aren't published in many other places. I wonder what kind of person his daughter is. Kurt had a terrible fear that she would grow to be much like him, and even when she was infant he recognized so many traits of himelf in her. Even though he coudn't stop his druge abuse, he was plagued by the fear that his daughter would forever be tainted as,"the daughter of junkie parents".
How awful it is trying to understand addictions. Even your own.
Well, I found my phone..I had left it in the backseat of my car. It's absence changed nothing, even though at first I thought I would be a little cut off from "people". It was one less thing to have to think about.
It amazes me how police deal with college parties and alcohol use. I was at a party on F St., a three level apartment, there was an infinite amount of alcohol and clearly everyone there was underage. When the cops came, some random guy simply came in and said, "if you're 21 you should leave because the cops are here." So we decided to leave, along with like a 3d of the party who were clearly underage. The cops were just standing out there watching us as we left, half of us could BARELY walk, and they said and did nothing. I think they just left after that. I didn't know that was the way things worked with cops.
Time to get to some lab writing.
