Not dead yet (again)
Realized I haven't posted here in weeks.
Has been a busy chaotic month for a variety of reasons. Spent a good two weeks dragging self to work sick - not because I lack sick leave but because we're understaffed and the other person who can cover for me was already covering for the person who was out sick for both those weeks with a nastier version of what I've had: a long slow respiratory virus that plays hell with asthma after the fever and chills and stupid part wear off.
Thursday I got pulled off the Hot Urgent Super Drop Everything Do This Now project I'd been assigned, and reassigned to another Hot Urgent Super Drop Everything Do This Now project that ideally needs to be finished by month end. We'll see if that happens; I'm having to learn skills in a new version of Excel and none of the commands I want are where I think they should be.
Other parts of my life involve waiting for answers on stuff that's outside my control.
And I made a list of all the shiat I wanted to get done this weekend and left it on the desk at work today.
