This is just to say that I am busy, not dead yet, and I bought PERFECT BOOTS today.
They are perfect because they fit properly, have tread suitable to walking outdoors in the wintertime, and are respectable enough to wear inside with jeans or trousers. And they were marked down to $10, so, score!
(I also bought some little tan suede booties with an impractical-for-me heel and no tread to speak of, but they were cute.)
Still on the eternal quest for pants that don't make my butt look fatter than it is.
