Back from EF, still alive and kicking!
Hey guys (and girls ;-))!
So, I'm back from EF and finally finished my other work. There are still some leftovers (I will contact everyone who's still on my list on Monday), but those will be done rather soon as well. So after quite some time I can check my (bursting) message boxes again and reply to you all. Sorry for the delays.
Maybe a few words about EF 17 ... in short: It was a blast! Totally awesome!
It was the best EF I ever had to date! And while I was short on time (as always ...), I really did enjoy meeting so many new people and old friends. I would have loved to spend more time with each and everyone of you.
Thanks a lot to everyone who was in the art show or stopped by my table - even if it was just to say hi. I never ran out of prints, commission slots and business cards so fast. o.o You guys are so crazy (and totally awesome)...
You made me feel really great, and for that I sincerely thank you.
I still have a few left over pieces from the art show, but I will write an extra journal entry about that.
Quite some surprise got me after being back as well - "Come to me ...", which already got featured as "Aikos Liebling" at another website, got a Daily Deviation on Deviantart - thank you so much, Nyiana-Sama! :-) (Digging through my messages might actually take quite some time ...)
Also, this autumn a really nice novel for children will be published - and I did the cover illustration as well as 4 black and white illustrations for that book. I'm going to write more about that later.
