30 day book meme
Okay, so I was originally going to do this a while ago, after I finished the other two memes but I got sidetracked and then I honestly forgot about it. But here I am again, mostly because I'm bored.
Day 01 - Best book you read last year
So between last October and now? Okay, seriously, do you have any idea how many books I read? And how many I liked? Just recently I finished A feast of crows, I also read the latest book in the Lorien legacies, the revenge of seven (and now that I think about it, I read that particular series for the first time sometime in May I think, which means that also happened this year.) (I haven't gotten my hands on the latest Percy Jackson novel yet, which is actually too bad.) So, this is a hard question to answer.
In the end I decided to go with 'The book of beast' by John Barrowman (and his sister) mostly because I loved the book, and the trilogy, and it was in fact the last book (revenge of seven ended on a cliffhanger, sort of anyway.)
Day 02 - A book that you’ve read more than 3 times
I read my favorite books (which are quite a few) a lot of times, so this, again, not an easy question to answer. In the end I just decided to see which of my books look like they've been read the most and I ended with 'Promise of the wolves' by Dorothy Hearst. I love this book, when I read it for the first time I never wanted the story to end, I loved everything about it. Since then I've read it multipble times. In short it's about a pack of wolves, 10000 years ago, and one wolf in particular who's sort of an outcast, and who makes everything worse by hanging out with a human, which is foribidden. (I know, bad summary, but I really don't know how else to summarize it.)
