Bryan & John Lloyd
In case you don't already know, I am OBSESSED with John Lloyd. I recently bought the Maging Sino Ka Man DVD and I still can't decide if I was really sick yesterday or my body was just able to conjure up a sickness so that I could stay home and watch it all day long. The other night, I had a dream that I was John Lloyd's girlfriend and we went to parties. When I woke up, I was the saddest person ever because it was only a dream =(
But while watching Maging Sino ka Man, I realized that maybe I like John Lloyd because he makes Bryan's personality so artista-like? So since i obviously cannot have John Lloyd in my life anytime soon (unless a twist of fate happens like what happened to Richard and Lucy), let me just try to make myself feel better and point out the ways similarities between John Lloyd and Bryan. Hehe.
1. Bryan & John Lloyd are both hard-working.
Bryan was an instant favorite in BPI because he's so bibo and always volunteering. There were even days when he would volunteer to work on a Sunday because they lacked man-power. He was also the "fire" guy for his department who is tasked to put out the fire with the use of the extinguisher in case anything happens.
Eli (John Lloyd's character in MSKM), is also your typical bibo. He works day to night several odd jobs and is always first to grab the gigs. He is hard-working and there is no lazy bone in him. (I love you John Lloyd)
2. Bryan & John Lloyd both do not know how to show their love.
In MSKM, John Lloyd is always masungit to Jackie (bea alonzo's character). Jackie trys hard to clean and prepare food and baon for Eli all the time and she even tries to learn how to wash clothes for him. But John Lloyd just always gets angry at her and she doesn't know what to do. Until one day, Eli started crying when he saw the scars on Jackie's hands because the reason he was getting angry at her was because he doesn't want her to work for anything because in his eyes, she was his princess.
Bryan naman, is your most unromantic, non-cheezy guy ever. When he talks to me on the cellphone, parang he's always angry and mainit ang ulo. But sometimes, when you catch him off guard or when he gets drunk, he will tell me that his life long dream is not to make his dreams come true but primarily to make mine happen. =)
3. Bryan & John LLoyd are both masungit
There is no need to expound on this. Bryan is masungit. John Lloyd is masungit (but it's okay.) This could be because of reason #1.
4. Bryan & John Lloyd always choose to do the right thing.
Although John Lloyd can be a bit pala-away (like in the palengke he had a fight there) and Bryan is always getting other drivers on the road to want to kill him, they are both still logical people who will do the right thing. Like I can always rely on Bryan to tell me how to do the right thing or choose to do the right thing everytime my conscience gets a little confused between right and wrong.
5. Bryan & John Lloyd are both cutie cutie =)
Si bryan thinks nga that he looks like John Lloyd na eh. Well I like them, because they don't have built masculado bodies, but nice flabby ones that I like. Hehehe.
6. Bryan & John Lloyd are both handy with housework and other stuff.
I hate to admit it, but it's like Bryan knows how to work every damn gadget there is. Since we got together, our printers and computers have lived longer because bryan can always fix it. And Bryan can always fix the stereo and tv and stuff like that. I can't wait to marry him. =) hehe
More stuff I observed after watching more episodes:
7. Bryan & John Lloyd both are experts into turning situations around and making everything not their fault.
Bryan uses logic. John Lloyd uses charm.
