Can't work!
Bryan and I just got to my house from my brother's birthday dinner and we were supposed to work on our pending umm work stuff so he took out his laptop and I felt relieved coz I knew I kept some files in my inbox (I don't use a laptop for work anymore.. I have a new desktop at the office!! Yey!!!) and thought I was going to be able to work on something... But... The files I emailed to myself (I do that because I got traumatized during college of virused disks, temporarily misplaced sticks, etc.) are in the new Windows format (i'm not sure if it's called vista but that's what i probably have and use at work..) so when I tried opening it here at home.. IT WOULDN'T READ OR OPEN IT!!!!
Whew. That was quite a long explanation. So here I am instead surfing online trying to prove to my younger siblings that I am still cool by knowing ahead of them that Zach and Vanessa have indeed broken up and that Zach is seeing his costar from Hairspray! It's true!! I saw it on livejournal.com/users/ohnotheydidnt !! They are really together!!
This is just like how I knew way way ahead how a certain C from the DLSU Archers had broken up with his long time girlfriend A and nobody knew about it!! I actually forgot how I heard about it or where I drew that conclusion from but 2 months later... My friends who refused to believe me are confirming it. Ahem.
Anyway, Bry doesn't know that I'm not working on anything right now so I'm just typing and blabbing about here so he thinks I'm working too. By doing this, I earn the right to complain because I am also indeed a hard-worker and I do get swamped with work too.
Which I actually honestly super am right now. I have to screen, train and hire a group of dynamic individuals by Mid-October. So right now, I'm swamped on my desk (at the office) with resumes, and interviewing people and practically begging people to come for an interview, at the same time developing a module, finding venues, fixing the logistical part of the training and begin training at least a group of 10 people by OCTOBER 1!! What is is it today? Sept 12. Tom is the 13th so that leaves me about 2 weeks left. This is really it. There's no more screwing around this. This is my project, my baby, if I don't implement this effectively maybe I should consider other careers. In other news, well I'm still doing other stuff but I'm still not sure if there are any other blogger developers out there so I'm praning and won't talk about the other exciting stuff I'm preparing right now =)
Nikki, as for childhood crushes:
1. Rocky from 3 Ninjas (the really first one okay the others that followed were butt ugly)
2. Eric Fructuoso (guilty)
3. Patrick Garcia (ok, he was everyone's crush back then)
4. The guy from the movie All I Want for Christmas
5. This guy who landed an airplane in a movie I watched when I was in 2nd grade. It was a movie shown in Channel 2 at 10pm on a Sunday night and I remember being in-love for the rest of the year
I had a childhood friend though, his name starts with E and when I was 6 he told me that he would marry me. I never liked him because he wasn't cute back then. I was already 12 and he still swore his undying love for me. But now, I am 23, his girlfriend is this model with many billboards and he's hotter than Borgy. Wow. Things we regret in life huh.
Okay I'm gonna stop pretending to work and just watch TV now! Deal or No Deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
