Feast of Hare
I decided to try a SCA event yesterday. It has been over a year since I attended my last one. Since I noticed that Betty Ann was going I thought she would be a great person to ask for a ride. I am glad I went as I saw a lot of old friends. I am sad I went because most of them were busy and I did not get much chance to talk to anyone except Betty Ann. Even though I had paid for feast I debated leaving before it was served but in the end I am glad I stayed. Some of court was quite funny and I enjoyed seeing the elevation. I have seen a few before and I always enjoy listening to people express how they feel about the person involved.
I quit going to SCA events as there is not much I can do at them except socialize. I do not fight, fence or do archery, I have no craft types things that I do, I no longer can dance so it leaves very little for me to participate in. I can do service stuff but need ones that would allow me to sit while I do them. anyway I am glad I went but not sure when I will go again.
