You might like the following museum, it occasionally has some very nice textile exhibits: http://www.museopoldipezzoli.it/PP_inglese/

Of course amongst all the other wonderful museums, it would be hard to pick just a few to visit.

Alas I have only visited them electronically. Lucretzia would be able to suggest better ones than I could.

I am busy that week or I would consider it, it sounds like a fun trip. One of these years I will get there.

Um... possibly. Work looks to be relatively un-stressful for a while, and I theoretically have some vacation time coming. On the other hand, I'm still way too much in debt. On the other other hand, if this is one of those "We want company enough to pay their way, and no one else has the time" deals, then I'm both available and interested.
