So I have been saying since summer that the squirrels were acting different. There was some desperation in those beady little eyes.
WELL... there is an acorn shortage. NPR reported on it yesterday. They said it will be hard winter for the squirrels. So that explains all the crazed ninja squirrels all around my house. I feel very perceptive. What can I say? I am very in tune with squirrels.
