I would liken my body to a car but it would be inaccurate. With cars the less miles you have the better.
With bodies you want there to be experience but not to much experience.
So I will liken my body to a shoe. Because new shoes are painful and cause you to stumble, but broken-in they are comfortable and give you freedom. But after awhile they get holes that your toes stick through only causing you more discomfort.
I feel like up until this day I looked in the mirror and consoled myself by thinking "It's ok I will grow out of the awkwardness." Today I realized that my body is in the middle of the broken-in phase and is heading toward being the old sneakers instead of the nicely broken-in sneakers.
I didn't even realize I was broken-in. I almost missed the whole thing.
