It would cost more to pay the impound fees and fix everything that's wrong with Cordell's truck than it was worth.
So his truck was stolen, and they still wanted him to pay $368 to get his truck out. Oh and they wouldn't let us tow it, we were told we had to get a wrecker. So the thieves broke his window, stole his battery, cleaned out the bed of his truck, stole some other engine parts, all that and the jacked up transmission and wiring it just wasn't worth it.
That was a wasted trip to Dallas. I was no help, except to bail people out just in case they couldn't hold their tempers. I feel bad for pointing out the futility of rescuing the truck, but someone had to.
