Just an update.
Thanksgiving was wonderful. We went to my mom's, then to Brian's mom's and we saw a lot of family. I also got a four-day weekend. =]
I decorated for Christmas on Friday, and then on Saturday Brian and I put the tree up. It's a big tree in a little apartment, so you kinda have to walk around it to go anywhere. But it's pretty and we did it together as our new family, so I love it.
The next few weeks will be busy with present shopping and getting ready to do all my Christmas baking. It's also Brian's birthday in a couple of weeks. We're celebrating with dinner and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, then having some people over for the regular night of beer pong and Guitar Hero.
I'm happy. Truly happy.
But hungry!
