An entire week had gone by and the weather on the island was nowhere near what it normally was. While some people were already getting sick of the cold, Pam was enjoying it. She loved having to bundle up in layer upon layer upon layer of clothes; having a scarf wrapped around her neck; wearing thick sweaters and warm gloves. It was like having a small part of Scranton right there. She'd long ago given up on going home and, in all honesty, had really started to prefer being on the island, for a great number of reasons. Her list was starting to get pretty long.

Surprisingly, the hammock had held up well in the cold. That might've been because it wasn't made of vines anymore, but she wasn't sure. Either way, the rope it was now made up of was holding up. Jim and Fiona were off somewhere, possibly doing some council stuff, so she decided to sit out on the hammock, the toes of her combat boots making two dirty grooves in the snow as she swung back and forth. She needed to think.

Things with Jim had felt off for about a week or so, maybe a bit more. They'd been arguing over the silliest things a lot and she couldn't quite put her finger on why. It bothered her. She had her sketchbook with a pencil shoved inside the binding sitting next to her unopened. Maybe things would be better if they talked.. but, she'd tried that before and it had just turned into another stupid argument that left them sleeping on opposite sides of their bed, three feet of space between them under the quilts and blankets.

It was just.. well, maybe she had been taking his teasing a bit too seriously lately. But, she honestly couldn't help it. She knew it was stupid, really stupid, actually, but she couldn't shake the feeling that, eventually, Jim was going to find something about her that he hated or something she did that he just couldn't stand. And she was scared that, if she didn't try to fix it, he was going to just give up and leave. She couldn't risk that..

She was shaken out of her thoughts but a monkey in a sweater pulling at the hem of her pants. She looked down at Fiona with a chuckle and pulled her up into her lap. When she looked up at Jim, she gave him a guilty sort of smile.

"Hey.."
