Party theme for wednesday: "Saved By the Bell"...hehe
i had an AMAZING night tonight. myself, renata, abby, and shannon went to Dolce, which is a restaurant on Melrose. it's ashton kutcher's brain child and just about the cutest little restaurant ever with a vip room and a bar that flames. either way...the bill was like 110 dollars, but since we had been there before we had a half-off certificate that lowered it to about 55, which was flippin' awesome. :) so, therefore, i am now full and happy and snuggled under my covers waiting for the rain to come.
i had the weirdest encounters on the way to class today. first there was the guy in my astro class who was like: did you use to work at shorty's subs/athena's greek food? and i was like...um...yeah, lol. turns out he knows my friend/co-worker kiran and that we had met BRIEFLY before. anyways, the guy is like asking me all these questions and then he finds out i work at urban. he was like: dude, could you hook it up? and i was like: uhh... at the end he asks for my number and i always feel guilty when ppl ask for my number so i gave it to him...ugh! THEN as i'm walking back to the house i have my ipod on and my umbrella and i'm cruisin and this guy walks up to me and is like: do you know where Dodd hall is? granted we're standing right in front of Dodd hall, so i'm like wtf? i point it out, expecting him to head that way...instead he goes: so yeah, it's really tough walking in the rain. and me feeling guilty again asks if he wants to get under my umbrella...AND THE GUY SAYS YES! he's asking me all these questions and it turns out he's a third year...answer me this...if a guy is a third year how in the hell does he not know where this building is? it was just weird, lol.
Saturday i went hardcore shopping with letizia. i am SO excited because i am getting these amazing boots from rampage for like 35 bucks because of her discount. they are WAY sexy. i am thrilled. i also got this fabulous purse from work for 6 bucks because my boss marked it down from 60 for me. i absolutely love urban, lol.
this week has defintely been an expensive eating out week. Monday night i went to dinner with my ex-roomie Katie (short hair) at the W hotel. we sat outside by the pool. it was great catching up with her.
in other friends news...life is generally good. brock and i defintely looked like hobos thursday night sitting on a bench in westwood at like 10PM just talking for three hours. it was his b-day yesterday...any suggestions on what to get him, lol? i saw my friend/former crush/almost presents date mike (laguna beach life guard) on friday for lunch - it was good and bad in that it was definitely awkward at times, lol. like, we defintely still have that flirtatious vibe going on and i can't figure out why. bah! ryan (actual presents date) and i are still good friends. however, i can't figure him out either. it's like he'll have spurts where he doesn't call me for two weeks and then there'll be weeks like this where he's called four times in three days. he's soo flippin' weird.
side note/random question - my friends here think that i give off like the "urban vibe" now and they think it's funny...hehe? do you guys think that i do?
