Moving in with Dianna was easier and faster than Lea expected it to be. The blonde girl was really sweet, friendly and most importantly really organized. The brunette noticed this as soon as all her stuff was brought into the apartment. The place was not huge, but was spacious enough for the both of them to live in there until she could move by herself. The decoration was minimalist, the walls in the living room were painted in a "off-white" shade and there was a black couch in the middle of the room, in front of it there was a glass coffee table and the TV. The kitchen was an open space that connected with the living room. It was all black and white, just like the other room. Most of the wall art consisted in pictures taken by Dianna or Audrey Hepburn memorabilia, Lea smiled at the thought of living in this super girlie, super organized, place.
"What's going on? You don't like it?" The blonde asked worriedly thinking that her new roommate really hated her place.
"No! I love it! It is just... so girlie! I would have never taken you for an Audrey Hepburn fan" Lea answered smiling at Dianna.
"Oh, yea. I love her! And yes, I'm a really girlie girl. There are a lot of things that you'll learn about me with time" Di replied feeling now awkwardly shy.
"Well Miss Agron, there are a couple of things you'll learn about me too. And I'm pretty sure, by the look of this place, there is two you are really going to hate" Lea stated with a serious expression on her face.
Dianna was starting to feel anxious about what Lea was saying, and decided to ask her the reasons for her comment. "What would that be?"
"Oh! I like to bring multiple sex partners home with me after I have just met them in a bar and talked to them for a couple of minutes. I like drinking too... Like a lot" The brunette said in a very confident and serious tone of voice.
"Uh..." was all Dianna could say before Lea burst into laughter and apologized for her intense and yet really bizarre sense of humor. The blonde was in a state of shock, part ashamed for not getting the joke and part confused about this new girl who had just taken her out of her comfort zone with just a comment.
"I'm sorry, I really am!" Lea said in between laughs "You should have seen your face, actually you should see your face now! You look so scared!
Dianna was actually scared. This new girl was crossing the point of craziness right now. She even thought about calling the movers back to get Lea's stuff out of her apartment and ask her to leave when the brunette snapped her out of her trance.
"I'm rally sorry Di" The tiny actress said now with a more serious tone of voice. "I have a really, lets say, different sense of humor. I promise I'll try to control myself next time" She assured her co-star.
"For a moment I thought that you were serious!" Dianna expressed with concern, but then smiled at Lea to let her know she was not upset at her for her joke. "Anyways, what are the two things I will hate about you?" The blonde asked curiously.
"Oh, I completely forgot what we were talking about" The brunette replied. "Well, the first is that I'm super messy, like chaotic; and judging by your apartment, you are completely the opposite" Lea said wile pointing to the living room.
The blonde actress turned around to take a look at her own place, and for the first time in her life realized how symmetrical, organized and color coordinated everything was. When she decorated it she didn't think much about it, but everything seemed to be perfectly fitted for each space of the room.
"Well, if you keep your mess in your own room I will have no issue with it" Dianna said, knowing that that was far from being truth.
Lea nodded and smiled at her co-star and started to pull all her stuff from the entrance of the apartment. "Talking about my room, where is it? I need to start making a mess out of it!" Lea said jokingly knowing that she was making Dianna uncomfortable again.
"This way" The blonde replied leading Lea to her new bedroom and opening the door.
"Oh Di, this is great! I love it" The room was really amazing. It was already prearranged for when she moved in. Dianna had taken some time to clean, paint, and get some Broadway memorabilia to hang on the walls, especially from Spring Awakening, knowing that Lea would feel a little bit more at home. She bought a new bedding set and new towels for her roommate and everything looked beautiful. Lea was so excited that she threw herself into her co-star's arms in a hug thanking her for everything.
"This is amazing" she said "thank you for everything and I promise I'll keep it tide and organized" She said pulling away from the taller girl who was now smiling at her.
"You are welcome!" She said smiling back to the short brunette. "So, what is the other thing I probably wont like about you? Dianna asked.
"Oh, I'm a vegan!" Lea said while taking another look at her new room.
"Well, that is not a problem" The blonde replied. "I'm a vegan too" She stated with a expression of relief.
This is going to be great! Lea thought to herself, before turning around and face her roommate.
"Since we are both vegans, and we haven't eaten anything since this morning, I think we could go to have dinner now. There is a restaurant that according to google maps is nearby, but I haven't been able to find it since I moved here, and I have reaaaally tried" The brunette said with a big smile.
"Ok, but dinner is on you!, I already moved and carried all your stuff all day long" Dianna replied playfully.
"Sounds great! Let's go!
Lea felt like she was dreaming. She had the perfect job, the perfect boss, the perfect team and now the perfect roommate. -Maybe I'm not going to miss NY that much. She thought.
