Nice day
Today was pretty good. The babysitter came today so I could go to my meeting. That's always a nice break for me, and Jimmy loves her - she really gives him lots of undivided attention. He took an extra long nap, so I was late getting groceries and getting dinner ready, and he's STILL falling off to sleep. Fortunately he isn't fighting it like he does sometimes!
Tuesday we did mother goose at Harvard Library. He really didn't want to be there, I'm not sure why. He enjoyed it some anyways. I guess he might be about ready for the 2-3 age story times. I'm just glad he'll finally sit still for books, even if it is all tractor, all the time! Oh, unless it's cars or construction equipment. Or bikes. Those are also big hits.
I really hope there's something good on tv tonight - it's been days since I've been able to just sit and veg! I slept really well last night. Only woke up once, and for once it was the cat not Jimmy!
New words lately: ducky, game, gate, again, blue, green (can't really identify colors, just knows most of the tractors are green!), Joan (the babysitter, he actually says goan), I'm sure there's more, just can't think of them right now.
