Restful weekend
Had a nice restful holiday weekend. Jimmy has 3 molars now thru, and the forth gum has gotten all swollen and purple, so I guess that one is coming soon, although it could be a bruise from his bottom molar.
Saturday Tom and I hung out and went shopping for Stanley Cup Bruins shirts. I found one with sequins in the shape of the cup! Shiny! We got Chinese takeout and Just took it easy.
Sunday we had a hard time getting Jimmy to take a nap. He signed for nap, but when we got up there, he got all excited and ran around. He didn't go to sleep till 2. At least he slept till 4! Then I met Alessandra and her sister at Sandy Pond Beach and we relaxed and took the kids swimming. Jimmy didn't like it at first, but once he got used to it, he swam all over with me and he wanted to jump off the dock. He had a picnic snack, then at home I cooked out on the grill.
On the fourth, we tried very hard to relax and watch tv, which Jimmy was not a fan of. He wouldn't nap, so at one we ended up putting him in the car and driving around to get take out lunch. He actually slept 2 hours in the car - 45 mins of it while I sat in the car with him in the driveway!
My friend Beth had her little girl, so yesterday I took her some "meal muffins" and the older kids played in the pool and got wagon rides. Pictures will come later!
