Bouncy!
Jimmy is doing fine. Or maybe James. I'm still not sure what I want to call him! Maybe I will just call him both. My coumadin is finally at the target level so I no longer have to take shots. YAY. We have discovered the bouncy ball in our house, which has made evenings SO MUCH EASIER AND LESS SCREAMY. Oh, thank heavens. I saw it in the new "Great Beginnings" baby class I'm taking at Isis, and since I already had one we pulled it out of the basement, and, wow. I am surprised at how well it works. Even better than the "Happiest Baby on the Block" method. Here's a picture of me on the bouncy ball!
I've been getting a lot of nice walks in this week as well. A couple in Arlington center with the stroller, and a couple around the neighborhood in the sling. He's kind of iffy on the sling - sometimes he gets in an falls right asleep, and other times he cries and struggles and I have to take him out. But it's nice when he sleeps and I can get some chores done!
And finally - good news! We have accepted an offer for our condo! Yay! Their inspection is Sunday morning, and we have fixed most of the major issues - the roof has been repaired, the knob and tube wiring is gone, so the only issue should be the painting, for which a credit has already been worked into the deal. God I hope it works out okay this time. But it's very exciting to have another offer!
