James is now 1 month old! He went for his checkup and he weight 8lbs 13oz and was 22 full inches! The doc said his growth was excellent. Which it should be, considering how much he's been eating! During the day it feels like he's eating almost every hour. I really miss the days when he was a sleepy baby! Development wise, he's starting to track things with his eyes better when he's awake, which is more often. We also think we've seen him imitating our facial expressions, at least where eyebrows are concerned.
Tom's brother, Bob, and his wife and baby Gina and Erin came up this past weekend. It was so good to see them again! On Saturday, Tom and Bob's uncle Ron and aunt Elaine drove down and got to meet both children for the first time! Elaine was so excited to see the kids, it was sweet. I just wish I could see them all more often - maybe Erin would actually remember me!
As far as the house goes, we've had tons of showings, 4 this weekend, and another one in an hour, but still no offers. Tom says it's only been back on the market for about a week, and to give it time. I'm starting to think now that the weather has improved, maybe we need to go ahead and paint. Most people are commenting on the exterior, how it looks like a lot of work. I'm sure that would be addressed if the house was painted. It's almost warm enough... but I don't want to spend all our money on this place when we need it to buy the new place! Argh! This is my biggest source of anxiety at the moment. I'll be so glad when it's sold!
Just to end on a positive note, here are some pictures!
