wicked busy
Somehow, despite trying to back off on planning too many activities, my weekend is entirely booked. How did this happen!?!?! I'm happy about each of the things I'm doing, but overall I'm feeling a bit crazy. Oh, well. Vacation is soon, right?
Here's what my weekend lineup looks like:
Tonight: Intro to Birdwatching - indoor class
Friday: Terminator (the new movie)
Saturday am: Intro to Birdwatching - outdoor class
Saturday day: put in plants in the garden (tomato and pepper time!)
Saturday pm: Dinner and games with Holly and Joe
Sunday: "Book Club"
Monday: Waterfall hiking day trip
*sigh*
I know I need to do less, but it all just looks so cool....
Last night I found a chicken buddy. Heh. I mean, I found a nearby neighbor who also wants to keep chickens and said I could keep mine on her property, and we could sort of go in together on the chores and the setup costs. I think it's cool! I won't have as much control, but at least I'll get to have some little chickies.... we're going to start with PEEPS! I mean, baby chicks. They'll be so cute!!!
At least I'm getting stuff done at work these days. Last weekend was pretty relaxing. Last night I dreamed I got a PhD in Sustainable Agriculture and Policy, and it was a job that was 50-50 outdoors and talking with people, and it was just perfect.... I even got to take some chemistry classes. One of these days I'll figure out exactly what I could try. But it was a nice dream.
My beach vacation is coming up soon. I'm really looking forward to it!!!
