She comes in, closing the door behind her. "Taiga . . . " It wasn't your fault? She'd probably heard that too many times to be comfortable with. Are you okay? Physically, sure, but emotionally she couldn't even imagine. Nothing that she could think of to say made any sense in her mind, so she did the most logical thing.

She hugged her. Sure, it was sort of an awkward position, and she wasn't the biggest hugger, but hey, they helped, and it'd worked on her when Clow-kun had done it.

At first, Taiga froze. She wasn't really expecting a hug, but after a while, she relaxed. A hug was better than words that wouldn't mean anything- words that she had already heard.

"Thanks, Hiyori," she said quietly.

She felt her freeze, but it only seemed like it was out of shock. And she was glad when she relaxed. "You're welcome." After a few moments, she released her. And then it was back to square one- well, maybe square two. Whatever that meant.

"So, what are you planning on doing today?"

Taiga pushed herself into a sitting position and ran her fingers through her hair. They shook slightly- she hoped her roommate wouldn't notice. But she probably would.

"Shiki's...coming over, I think. He still wants to be around me, even after what happened."

Whether she noticed or she didn't, it wasn't being brought up.

However, she did notice how much her tone differed from how it usually did, at that statement. "Ah, well. I'm pretty sure that he just said he thought he fell asleep. Although, even if he remembered, he'd probably still react the same way."
