... shows I'm gonna watch in the 2008/2009 season (or at least try to). ABC hasn't picked up any new pilots this fall and there's still a chance some other shows might make it to cable television, so things will probably change. But for now these are the shows I'm willing to give a try:
Cleveland (FOX) because I adore Family Guy and I would feel guilty if I didn't give the spin-off a chance.
Crash (STARZ) because I enjoyed the movie and I'm curious to find out how it can be transformed into a season of thirteen episodes.
Dollhouse (FOX) because it's from Joss Whedon, Donnie loves it and Tahmoh Penikett is the shit.
Fringe (FOX) because J.J. Abrams is fantastic and it's about time Joshua Jackson got back to television.
Harper's Island (CBS) because I can use a trashy mystery show and I love titles with islands.
Kath & Kim (NBC) because I have absolutely no idea why I initially put the show on my list. I'm sure there was a reason, I just can't think of it right now.
Kings (NBC) because the description sounds so weird, crazy and stupid I have to see it with my own eyes.
Little Britain (HBO) because the original made me laugh very much and I have trust in HBO to preserve the spirit of the British version.
My Worst Enemy (NBC) because no one seems to know if it's actually called My Worst Enemy or My Own Worst Enemy and because Christian Slater is an amazing actor.
Robinson Crusoe (NBC) because it's a bold move from NBC to place trust into a show with basically one character and islands remind me of Lost.
Sit Down, Shut Up (FOX) because I don't watch enough cartoons and I love shows about school.
Surviving The Filthy Rich (The CW) because the trailer looked like a funny crossover between Gossip Girl and The OC.
True Blood (HBO) because Alan Ball did an amazing job with Six Feet Under and there hasn't really been any good shows about vampires since Buffy and Angel.
