The wife went back to work, which means I take care of the child three days a week, and get restful times whenever he naps. My babysitting technique is largely based on going for walks. The first one knocks him out for a couple hours, then he stays awake for the second, longer, walk. Later, these will be runs, and then bike rides.
Neat product:
Burley's Baby Smuggler - lets you use Burley's trailers (as strollers or joggers) with kids from 3 months old. This and the trailer will be on their way here soon (we hope), so I can get back into running.
In unrelated news: My iBook is slow. Entirely too slow to run OSX well, let alone be all productive-like. So I installed Linux on it a couple days ago. Ubuntu is entirely too easy, and REAL geeks will laugh at my newbness, but it makes the computer much faster, and it's an introduction of sorts for me into the scary world of penguins.
