(no subject)
i have wasted so much time this weekend. i did a lot but it wasn't what i should have done...
i skipped glebe house on saturday - "sore throat." well, it was a little blown out. whatev. so i helped my mom do some christmas shopping and decorating and stuff like that...
and i babysat eddy in the evening. before they went out fauzia came in to talk to me about - you know, normal babysitting stuff. and fauzia had these amazing shoes - they were boots and they had ribbon ties - and she was like "these things are so awkward!" so i tied them for her the way you tie pointe shoes (only i tied a bow on the outside of her ankle instead of inside). ahahaha she's my hero. when they got home she was like, "you haven't eaten the pizza??" and i was like "i didn't think about it! i already ate dinner!" so i stayed around and talked to fauzia and esan and ate pizza for like half an hour.
and then fauzia told me to call her when i got home to make sure i made it safely.
me and my mom: OHHH SHES SO SWEET!
and then she calls back to thank me for getting eddy a birthday present and said how blessed they are to have met me, i'm such a sweet girl and my mom's been so helpful, and that i'm basically stuck with them.
me: WE WERE JUST SAYING THAT.
only we don't use the word "blessed." it freaks me out a little.
but i didnt say that.
and today i was dragged to the mall and didn't get home until three.
and i wrote an email.
and i talked to lani for like a cumulative hour.
and i won't have time to write melnotes.
and i didn't get to skim scarlet letter again.
and i cant wait for vacation.
