(no subject)
Today when I stopped in to McDonalds was... highly amusing to say the least.
First person who sees me is the shift manager.
SM: "Hey! How you doing today?"
She walks over the the visibly nervous First Day New Guy.
SM: "This guy always gets a double quarter meal, with a Fruitopia. Unless he's in a hurry, then he gets 20 nuggets."
FDNG: *blank expression*
Me: "Quarter today."
SM goes to fill my drink.
Grill Girl in back pops her head out.
GG: "Hi! Quarter or nuggets?"
Me: "Quarter"
FDNG has apparently not heard ANYTHING we told him...
FDNG: "Derp?"
I give him the whole order. He bobbles punching in EVERY step, calls over SM for help.
My entire meal is served before he even finishes punching it in.
Meanwhile, Shift Lead pops over. She banks with Vancity, and has been jealous of how early I got my chip card.
SL: "I finally got my chip card yesterday!"
Yeah... I'm kind of well known there...
