Hello everyone. I have returned. Sorry I was gone... I was away for almost 2 weeks... THIS SUCKS! Hey there, how are you all? Remember me? I am the compulsive over-exerciser, the girl who works-out at the gym for hours every single day no matter what, the girl who lives to workout and can't imagine doing anything else, the girl who exercises obsessively! I can't workout for 6-8 WEEKS! I am crushed. I had surgery on my back/neck (car accident 4 years ago that recently got progressively worse)... and now I can't workout that whole time!!! The doctor said I can take mile-long-walks anytime now, and do elliptical (because I almost forced him to say yes) on a slow-walk pace starting in another week. What the fuck is that gonna do for me!?!?!? I am going CRAZY not being able to workout. No TaeBo, no running, no basketball, no ab crunches, no bicyclying, no weighlifting, no dancing, no boxing, no hockey, no tennis, no jogging, no life. Physically, I feel FINE. I swear I want to just disobey doctors orders and go play squash or run eilliptical like mad. I don't want to push my luck though... the first afternoon after the surgery I could get myself out of bed all alone, walk around, and even watched a hockey game. My recovery was so immediate that I know I can do more activities but I would feel so guilty disobeying the doctor and I don't wanna jeopardize my chances. 6-8 WEEKS!!! Does anyone know any low-impact exercises/activities that will still help me burn calories???
I am really about to put on running shoes and have my brother drop me off (by car) in the middle of nowhere so I can burn calories trekking/walking/slow jogging for miles trying to find my way home!!!
