Merlin finally facing the terrible betrayal of his two closest friends was vivid and devastating. Mordred and Morgana left him to the enemy, but why? Are they like Nimueh and Morgause, intent on gaining more power, becoming gods themselves? It's fascinating.
Merlin and Arthur are growing closer and closer isolated in this small village and I'm enjoying learning more about Merlin's history and his power. His attempts to hone what little power he can harness is very entertaining even as it's frustrating for him. I ope he's able to do something about Arthur's curse, though, it doesn't appear anything is being done to break it any longer.
