OMG yay!
I just got back from the doctors, and have some good-ish news. There is a possibility I won't have to have surgery. If my leg is looking solid and good after 3-4 weeks of rehab, I may get the go ahead to live out my life with a severed ACL. This does mean that I'll never be able to play any sports, and probably not martial arts either. We'll see.
He also told me I didn't need to be on crutches. So the next person who fusses at me for walking without crutches can suck it. :)
