Thanks so much! I'm really glad you liked it :) Before I wrote this, I didn't know how good it felt to have someone say they enjoyed your writing. It sorta makes it feel like writing it was worth it, ya know?

Haha, but I like that lame joke! And to be honest, I didn't even get it until you pointed it out ^^;; Haha but yeah, I hadn't seen a fic like this before, so I thought it would be really interesting to try it out and see how it would go!

Yeah, I know... Sorry about that >.< The main point of this piece was the whole fanfiction-in-a-fanfiction plot device, so I had to sacrifice a bit of Gary's character in order to make the rest of it work. I couldn't see a way to make this happen without Gary apologizing. I mean, I did try to include the background of it where Gary was being a jerk to Ash, so hopefully that helped a bit. I've read other Palletshipping fics where Gary isn't always a total douche, so I didn't feel too bad making him this way in my fic xD;

Also, thanks! I'm glad you thought he seemed very real. To be honest, I kind of put myself in Gary's shoes when I wrote this... Or actually, I let Gary slip into my shoes. The whole "realizing you have a crush on a guy you don't think you could ever get with and then starting to be a jerk to him as a result" is not a foreign feeling to me. So maybe that's why I knew what I was writing about? xD

I'm glad you liked my T fanfic! Haha, just kissing isn't always bad ;P I didn't really want to make them go any farther here. For one, it would sort of ruin the mood and point of this fic. While I do appreciate (like? love? XD) lemons, I didn't want my fic to be one. The fic's supposed to be about them comparing themselves to Red and Green, not about them having sex.

Speaking of lemons... If you have time, you should check out the Originalshipping lemon I have in my favorites section on my profile on FFN. It's called "Don't Need to Know," and it's the only lemon I'll probably ever add to my favorite's list. It's not a standard lemon in that it's not just like a sex scene or anything. I mean, the entire point of the fic is for it to be full of sexual content, but it's just... well, it's good. I think I like it because it sort of describes sex in emotional terms, not just physical terms. So yeah. You should read it :P

Also, I hope the kissing scene wasn't too bad... Those like 3 paragraphs took me longer than any other 3 paragraphs in the fic. I had to rewrite it like 3 times until I was satisfied with it. At first, it was sounding too mechanical. Not smooth enough for a kissing scene. I hope my description of their kissing wasn't too awful xD;

I'm from the US :) in the Houston, Texas area to be specific. I've lived here all my life, and now I'm going to college in Houston, too xD (Rice University whooooooo!) Yeah, English is my native language. I hope that didn't mean my writing was bad. ^^;

And finally, thanks for leaving me a comment! I know you don't have to leave comments when you read, but I really appreciate it when you do :) (As we already discussed in our other conversation xD)

Also, I forgot to ask xD Where are you from? Since your profile says you're speak Finnish, I'm guessing you're from Finland? I don't know many other places in the world that speak Finnish :P

And yeah, I'm from Finland. I don't think anyone else except Finns speak our language.
I've only studied English in school and so on. I'm actually a bit nervous every time I speak with someone whose native language is English ^^"

Really? No way! Your English is awesome! I can't tell that English is your 2nd language from reading the fanfics on your profile. You shouldn't be nervous haha, your English is great! Your fics are actually probably some of the most well-written fics I've seen.

Haha, don't worry about late responses. I'll just tell myself that it's because you cared about my comment so much that you wanted to take as much time as you needed to carefully craft your response so that it would be perfect. XDDD

Ahaha, everyone is lazy sometimes :P Since I finished this fic like a month and a half ago, all I've been able to produce is a small 750-word fic that didn't take me long at all. I'm really lazy, as you can tell :P

And yeah I get your point about Gary's character and I don't think it's a bad thing he's a bit softer comparing to what I'm used to. 8) And yes I could sense it from the text, that you've been through these things I mean.

Yup, I meant just that. The kissing scene was great in my opinion. It would've ruined the atmosphere if it turned out something more. I mean, who jumps straight into bed after confessing a crush, anyway? I wouldn't. :'D

Oh no, I didn't mean your writing is bad at all! :D Actually, I guess it's just some kind of a stupid preconception, but I've gotten used to some US people write ... umm... let's say unclearly 'cause they think everyone knows their language anyway. I don't know if there's any sense in what I'm saying, but well, even I'm not sure what I'm trying to tell... The point is, you write very well :D

Yeah. It kind of surprised me that my fic ended up being like this (in regards to the Gary note) because normally, when I read Palletshipping, I sort of read it from Ash's perspective, because I see myself as more of an Ash-type character. but obviously, in this one, I sort of became Gary as opposed to Ash. xD

Haha thanks! I'm glad my kissing scene wasn't too bad :P And yeah, I would never do that, either. Sometimes, it's kind of annoying when fics are like "confess crush, go straight to sex." I usually don't mind things not being realistic, but that's way too unrealistic for me XD

Haha, that's so true, though! A lot of native English speakers write sloppily. When non-native English speakers write fics, usually they're either bad because they miss a lot of verb tenses and stuff, or they're especially good because they know and use all the rules -- rules that native English speakers sometime ignore! XD

However, I take pride in the fact that I use correct grammar, and I try to make my text as clear as possible. I'm glad to see that it shows :)
