An old acquaintance of mine passed away.
I wasn't particularly close friends with her, but knew her on a few of my trips to Seattle. She used to live in Chicago, and I knew her through my ex Dave. She was always very good-natured, down-to-earth, a friendly spirit, and apparently very bright as well. I got along with her well, despite my shyness. I knew her in the days when I was clubbing every week, so not many deep conversations, but spent enough time around her to make an indelible impression of my time in Seattle.
I lost touch with her (as I did with many clubbing acquaintances), and don't know what became of her recently, but I hope that her last moments alive were not in pain. My thoughts are with her.
