Wherever did the time go?
I haven't been here in ages! I realized when I returned that I haven't update here in 4 weeks and thought I would write a few lines to let people know that I'm still around now and then.
Nothing much is happening in my life that would be interesting for anyone to read about.
I'm struggling with not depression it's not *that* bad right now, more like an age-crisis, desperation over that I'm only getting older and are nowhere where I want to be in life and aren't sure how to fix this.
Tired of the constant struggling to make ends meet or at least wave to each other from a distance, they say that money can't buy happiness and while that might be true, it works very well for things like paying rent, buy food, pay bills and buy things that are useful, helpful or just shiny that makes you smile.
I don't need to be able to buy everything my little heart desires because I like many things and where would i put it all? Or find the time to enjoy all the shiny things for that matter?
I still spend much time online, I play little games on Facebook and wanders around other places and read a little here and there.
I got a couple of books by Neil Gaiman for last Christmas that I also spend time reading, now I have along with my goal to collect all books by Terry Pratchett the same goal for the books by Neil Gaiman.
Right now we and the cats are dogsitting, the dog Moa is an Irish setter, she belongs to sephreniamusic Dad and Stepmom they are in Brazil right now.
She has gotten sick during the time we have been watching here and tomorrow we are bringing her back to the vet to have her uterus removed. I sure hope her surgery goes well.
I would never want to live in a house like this, there is still neighbours living above you and wall to wall with all the extra sounds and distractions that means, also both the kitchen and the shower is made of pure suck, the so called hot water here most of the time really feels like legion fever waiting to happen than anything else.
I'm a bit homesick to tell the truth, back to our own things, our kitchen that in no way is a great one but still to superior to this one for words to cover it, to our TV channels and our scolding hot tap water (just have to be a bit careful there not to burn yourself)
Also this place is freezing no matter how much clothes you put on, most of our apartment is much warmer and cozier.
