I Love my job -- at least most of it
So today at work was so much fun!!
We didn't know if the pool was going to open so we didn't make the kids change until after ten when the pool was already opened and while we waited we had a blast entertaining ourselves...
+Elliot put a cd of mine that I burned for the talent show in the microwave and sparks flew (try it... 4 seconds - but your cd is destroyed)!! It was great... The youngest little girl, Rachel, saw us put it in the microwave and she said "That doesn't go there" and then afterwards Elliot told her "You didn't see that" and she said "No, but it scared me!"
+Katie and I "switched" names and C.J., our mentally challenged child, came over and said Miss Katie and I said yes and he was like no you are Miss Hannah and it went on for a while, then he put his fingers in his ears and ran to the other side of the gym and acted like he was crying!!! It was so funny, it might sound mean, but we weren't...
+We made fun of your boss!
+Elliot and I chased some annoying boys away by repeativly asking them if they wanted a hug
+Rachel thought it would be funny to hit me in the boob... we asked her later why she didn't and she said "They are just so big".... we laughed forever!
+I was locked out of the kitchen so I climbed over the counter to get in away from the kids
+We decided we would watch a movie if the pool was closed and the older boys didn't want to watch March of the Penguins and Spencer chased them down to get the movie and when the boys locked themselves in the kitchen with me, Katie, and Elliot, Spencer climbed over the counter
-One of my little boys got sick
+Elliot had to clean it up and I helped... we went to get the mop and one of the kids asked us what we were doing and Elliot said "Playing janitor" and I said "Is that like playing doctor" and he said "Just don't as much fun"... we have good times :)
Then, we went to the pool
+only put sunscreen on the kids once... I love working in the mornings but sunscreen is a bitch to put on!!
-Kim showed up
+She stayed away! She is so stupid!!!
+Katie and I took turns catnapping at the side of the pool
+Elliot and I had a waterfight in the wave pool... I was soaked by restbreak... he kept using one of the kids noodles and blowing water out of it all over me and I couldn't do it so I was just kicking water...
NOTE: neither of us had on swimsuits
+I went over to the shelter before I was completly wet and Spencer asked if it was raining...
+At restbreak this girl that was at the pool with her dad came over to me and said "Did you know you are really wet?" I was just like "Yeah"
-Kim won't let me work overtime next week even though I am the only one who really wants the hours
After Lunch
+Reading time... I lied on the couch in the tv room and the girls were lying on top of me... it was so funny
+The Lowes man came and we made birdhouse... the older boys were with my little kids so they could help... Connor grabbed Rachel to help her and they were so cute, Connor would put the nail in all the way and tell her to finish it. We took a picture of her with her googles and apron on, she was so cute!! Riley and Justin were working together and they messed up their birdhouse... it was so funny... the roof was on the bottom and the bottom as the roof, the stand that sticks out was there because the hole was on the inside!
-Kim wouldn't help me make snacks while the kids were yelling at me that they were hungry
+You couldn't get Rachel away from Connor
+One of the boys that Rachel liked him and when he got up to go to the bathroom at concession she said "Where did that one kid go?" and Connor was like "Josh" and she said "I don't know his name!" So much for her liking him!
Besides for Kim, I LOVE my job, and Elliot and Katie are awesome!!!! Rachel makes my day, I am so glad she isn't sick anymore!!
