A: My car!!!
I don't know if it runs. The guy at the place it was towed to said that it was in one piece and "it rolls" (they can't start it or anything cause they don't have the key). I can't go get it until I clear it with the cop who found it, and he's not on shift again until tomorrow night at 11:00 pm... meanwhile I have to pay for it every night that it's kept there! Grrr. I left a voicemail with the cop and the other cop I talked to said he'll try to contact him before then.
Meanwhile I am happy but also worried. I have no idea if it even runs, or if there's even an engine in it! And even if it is in okay condition, someone might try to steal it again. Do I buy comprehensive insurance for it while I try to sell it? Do I get an alarm? Both of those things can be kind of pricey, especially if I can't get much money from selling it. Starting immediately, we'll park it in the driveway with Brian's giant 1983 chevy truck behind it. That way they'd have to move/steal his truck before they could get to the car. Anyone else have any ideas about how to deter more theft?
And then there is, of course, the problem of trying to sell it.
*sigh*
But at least they found it!
